दुर्गेति भद्रकालीति चण्डी माहेश्वरीत्यपि । कौमारी वैष्णवी चेति वाराह्येन्द्री च शाम्भवी ॥ १४ ॥
durgeti bhadrakālīti caṇḍī māheśvarītyapi | kaumārī vaiṣṇavī ceti vārāhyendrī ca śāmbhavī || 14 ||
وہ ‘دُرگا’، ‘بھدرکالی’، ‘چنڈی’ اور ‘ماہیشوری’ کے نام سے سراہي جاتی ہے؛ ‘کوماری’ اور ‘وَیشنوِی’ کے روپ میں بھی؛ اور اسی طرح ‘واراہی’، ‘اِندری’ اور ‘شامبھوی’ کے ناموں سے بھی کیرتن کی جاتی ہے۔

It teaches that the one Supreme Śakti is invoked through many sacred names, each highlighting a distinct power (śakti) and function—protection (Durgā), auspicious fierce grace (Bhadrakālī), and divine sovereignty through the deities’ energies.
By listing reverential names, it models nāma-smaraṇa (remembrance of divine names) as a direct bhakti practice—approaching the Goddess through her epithets and recognizing her presence in multiple divine manifestations.
