Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: Traivikrama-vrata
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It elevates the Traivikrama (Vishnu) vrata as a supreme dharmic practice, declaring that its fruit equals the merit of eight great sacrifices, while emphasizing purity (freedom from sin) through devotional observance.
By presenting a Vishnu-centered vow as yielding extraordinary merit, it frames bhakti expressed through vrata (disciplined worship and observance) as a powerful, accessible means to spiritual upliftment.
Ritual discipline (kalpa-oriented practice) is implied: the verse teaches vrata-vidhi and vrata-phala logic—how correctly performed observances are mapped to the merits of classical yajñas in purāṇic dharma teaching.
