स्वगोत्राद्भृश्यते नारी विवाहात्सप्तमे पदे । स्वामिगोत्रेण कर्त्तव्यास्तस्याः पिण्डोदकक्रियाः ॥ ७५ ॥
svagotrādbhṛśyate nārī vivāhātsaptame pade | svāmigotreṇa karttavyāstasyāḥ piṇḍodakakriyāḥ || 75 ||
نکاح کے ساتویں قدم پر عورت اپنے گوتر سے جدا سمجھی جاتی ہے؛ اس کے بعد اس کے پِنڈ اور اُدک (آبِ نذر) کی رسومات شوہر کے گوتر کے نام سے کی جائیں۔
