FAQs

It establishes Shiva as the avyaya prabhu (imperishable sovereign) who authorizes and guides cosmic order; Linga worship is grounded in approaching this unchanging Pati who empowers creation and right governance.

Shiva is presented as avyaya—beyond decay and change—yet actively ruling the lokas; this matches Shaiva Siddhanta where Pati is transcendent and also the gracious governor who addresses beings for their uplift.

No specific puja-vidhi is stated, but the verse implies śaraṇāgati (turning to the Lord’s guidance) as the basis for Pashupata orientation—seeking the Pati’s command to loosen pasha (bondage) for pashus.
