आगतान् पूजयेत् कामैर् निजांश् च प्रशमन्नयेत् सामदृष्टानुसन्धानमत्युग्रभयदर्शनं

āgatān pūjayet kāmair nijāṃś ca praśamannayet sāmadṛṣṭānusandhānamatyugrabhayadarśanaṃ

جو لوگ آئے ہوں اُن کی پسندیدہ توجہات دے کر تعظیم کرے اور اپنے لوگوں کو بھی پرسکون کرے۔ تدبیر میں ‘سام’ (مصالحت) کو اصل رہنما بنائے، اور ضرورت پڑنے پر نہایت سخت ہیبت کا مظاہرہ کر کے خطرات کو روکے۔
