FAQs

It reflects a Purāṇic practice of linking cosmological models (e.g., Śiśumāra as an astral/cosmic form) with visual culture (images/diagrams) and expiatory merit, illustrating how astronomy, devotion, and ritual art intersected in premodern South Asia.

No specific geographic site is named in this verse; the focus is on a cosmological form (Śiśumāra) rather than a pilgrimage location.

Disciplined attention (prayatna) and respectful salutation toward a cosmological representation are presented as practices associated with moral purification.
