Hymn to Varāha and Pṛthivī’s Inquiry
Prelude to the Sanatkumāra Dialogue
Pṛthivī (default, hymn-voice addressing Varāha/Viṣṇu in dialogue frame)

It links cosmic time (yuga/manvantara) with natural imagery (trees/forests), a Purāṇic technique that integrates cosmology and the living environment.
No specific location is named; the reference is ecological and cosmic rather than topographical.
By sacralizing forests and great trees (vanaspati), the verse supports a cultural rationale for respecting and conserving vegetal life.
