Hymn to Varāha and Pṛthivī’s Inquiry

Prelude to the Sanatkumāra Dialogue

साङ्गस्त्वं विद्युतिनां च वैद्युतानां महाद्युतिः ॥ युगे मन्वन्तरे चापि वृक्षाणां च वनस्पतिः ॥

sāṅgas tvaṃ vidyutināṃ ca vaidyutānāṃ mahādyutiḥ || yuge manvantare cāpi vṛkṣāṇāṃ ca vanaspatiḥ ||

Ikaw ang may anyo at mga sangkap sa mga kidlat; sa ningning na parang kuryente, Ikaw ang dakilang liwanag. Sa bawat yuga at sa bawat manvantara rin, sa mga punò Ikaw ang panginoon ng gubat (vanaspati).
