ततो हृष्टमना भूत्वा गृहीत्वा तां चतुर्मुखः । पुनर्वर्षसहस्रांते भूमिपृष्ठमुपागतः । दर्शयामास तां विष्णोरेषा लिंगस्य मूर्धतः
tato hṛṣṭamanā bhūtvā gṛhītvā tāṃ caturmukhaḥ | punarvarṣasahasrāṃte bhūmipṛṣṭhamupāgataḥ | darśayāmāsa tāṃ viṣṇoreṣā liṃgasya mūrdhataḥ
Pagkaraan, ang apat-na-mukhang Brahmā, na may pusong nagagalak, ay kinuha ang bulaklak na iyon. Paglipas ng isang libong taon, siya’y muling dumating sa ibabaw ng lupa. Ipinakita niya ito kay Viṣṇu at nagsabi, “Ito’y mula sa tuktok ng liṅga.”
