Transliteration

pulastya uvāca | sa tasyāḥ śapathāñchrutvā vismayotphullalocanaḥ | pratyayaṃ ca tadā gatvā vyāghro vākyamathābravīt

Translation

Sinabi ni Pulastya: Nang marinig ang kanyang mga taimtim na panunumpa, lumaki sa pagkamangha ang mga mata ng tigre. Pagkaraan, nang mapaniwala sa kanyang katapatan, nagsalita ang tigre ng mga salitang ito.
