dṛṣṭvā bāṣkalimāyāṃtaṃ devāḥ śakrapurogamāḥ | vāryamāṇāstadā devyā palāyanaparāyaṇāḥ

Translation

Nang makita si Bāṣkali na papalapit, ang mga diyos na pinangungunahan ni Śakra (Indra)—bagaman pinipigil ng Diyosa—ay tumuon sa pagtakas at naghangad lamang ng pag-alis.
