Narrative voice (phala-oriented statement within the Māhātmya)
Listener: Ṛṣis / dvijāḥ
Scene: An auspicious bridal figure symbolizing saubhāgya—modest, composed, adorned simply—surrounded by emblems of virtue (lamp, water-pot, sacred thread context via dvijas).
Dharma in household life is portrayed as auspiciousness: virtue, right conduct, and family flourishing.
Indirectly the same shrine/ākhyāna context (Haravedī/Vṛṣabhadhvaja) whose worship/listening is said to yield these marital blessings.
No explicit rite here; it functions as a promised outcome (phala) connected to the chapter’s worship/listening practice.
