Transliteration

asti bhūbhitale khyātā madhurākhyā mahāpurī | nānāviprasamākīrṇā yamunātaṭasaṃśrayā

Translation

Sa ibabaw ng daigdig ay may isang dakilang lungsod na bantog na tinatawag na Madhurā, siksik sa maraming brāhmaṇa at nakahimlay sa pampang ng Yamunā.
