शोकार्णवे परिक्षिप्य मां सभार्यं वयोऽधिकम् । तन्मा पुत्रक भूयस्त्वमीदृक्कर्म करिष्यसि
śokārṇave parikṣipya māṃ sabhāryaṃ vayo'dhikam | tanmā putraka bhūyastvamīdṛkkarma kariṣyasi
Inihagis mo ako—kasama ang iyong ina—sa karagatan ng dalamhati, kahit kami’y may edad na. Kaya, mahal kong anak, huwag mo nang muling gawin ang gayong gawain kailanman.
