हस्त्यश्वरथहीनस्तु कोशहीनो यदाऽभवत् । स तदा चिंतयामास किं करोमि च सांप्रतम्
hastyaśvarathahīnastu kośahīno yadā'bhavat | sa tadā ciṃtayāmāsa kiṃ karomi ca sāṃpratam
Nang mawalan siya ng mga elepante, kabayo, at mga karwahe, at naubos pa ang kanyang kabang-yaman, siya’y nagmuni-muni: “Ano ang gagawin ko ngayon?”
