नैवेद्ये फेणिका देया धूपं गुडसमुद्भवम् । कंकोलप्राशनं चैव भास्करस्य प्रतुष्टये

naivedye pheṇikā deyā dhūpaṃ guḍasamudbhavam | kaṃkolaprāśanaṃ caiva bhāskarasya pratuṣṭaye

Para sa naivedya (handog na pagkain), ihandog ang pheṇikā at magsunog ng insensong mula sa jaggery (guda). At isagawa rin ang prāśana ng kankola upang lubos na malugod si Bhāskara.
