Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 3

आत्मानमात्मनैवाथ ब्रह्मद्वारेण संस्थितः । ततो निःसारयामास पुलकेन समन्वितः

ātmānamātmanaivātha brahmadvāreṇa saṃsthitaḥ | tato niḥsārayāmāsa pulakena samanvitaḥ

Pagkatapos, na nakatatag sa 'Pinto ng Brahma', siya—sa pamamagitan ng kanyang sariling panloob na kapangyarihan—ay naging dahilan upang ang kanyang sarili ay lumisan, at ginawa niya ito na puno ng masidhing kagalakan.
