शिवोक्तं च समाकर्ण्य वरदानं पुनःपुनः । वरं च प्रार्थयांचक्रे परिहृष्टतनूरुहः
śivoktaṃ ca samākarṇya varadānaṃ punaḥpunaḥ | varaṃ ca prārthayāṃcakre parihṛṣṭatanūruhaḥ
Nang marinig ang sinabi ni Śiva, ang paulit-ulit na pagbibigay ng biyaya, siya’y nagsimulang humiling ng isang boon; tumindig sa galak ang balahibo sa kanyang katawan.
