व्यास उवाच । पुराणसंहितां सूत ब्रूते त्रैकालिकीं कथाम् । संदेहो नात्र कर्तव्यो यतस्तद्गोचरोखिलम्
vyāsa uvāca | purāṇasaṃhitāṃ sūta brūte traikālikīṃ kathām | saṃdeho nātra kartavyo yatastadgocarokhilam
Sinabi ni Vyāsa: O Sūta, ang kalipunang Purāṇa ay nagsasalaysay ng kuwento na sumasaklaw sa tatlong panahon—nakaraan, kasalukuyan, at hinaharap. Huwag magtanim ng pag-aalinlangan dito, sapagkat ang lahat ng ito’y nasasaklaw nito.
