लिङ्गप्रतिष्ठा-माहात्म्यम् / The Greatness of Liṅga Installation
अशुद्धं चैव शुद्धं यच्छुद्धाशुद्धं च तत्त्रिधा । ततः शिवो महेशश्च रुद्रो विष्णुः पितामहः
aśuddhaṃ caiva śuddhaṃ yacchuddhāśuddhaṃ ca tattridhā | tataḥ śivo maheśaśca rudro viṣṇuḥ pitāmahaḥ
Ang pinakapangunahing prinsipyo ay tunay na tatluhan: ang marumi, ang dalisay, at ang halo (dalisay at marumi). Mula roon lumilitaw ang mga gampaning kosmiko at ang mga namumunong diyos: Śiva, Maheśa, Rudra, Viṣṇu, at Pitāmaha (Brahmā).
