Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Offering: pushpa
It maps divine powers to directions and symbols on the lotus-maṇḍala, teaching that all cosmic functions (wind, preservation, creation, and protective powers) are harmonized around Īśvara—supporting a Shaiva view where all deities and energies find their order in Shiva’s sovereignty.
The verse reflects maṇḍala-based Saguna worship: arranging directions, deities, and emblems around the sacred center (Shiva/Linga) so the devotee’s ritual space mirrors the cosmos, making the Linga the axis of integrated devotion and protection.
Perform directional nyāsa/visualization in pūjā: mentally place the deities in their quarters around the lotus-maṇḍala, then steady the mind on Īśāna (Shiva’s quarter) while repeating the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) to unify attention and invoke protection.
