Maṇḍala Worship and Homa Sequence for the Disciple
वौषडंतेन मूलेन पुनः प्रक्षाल्य कर्तरीम् । हस्ते शिष्यस्य चैतन्यं तद्देहे विनिवर्तयेत्
vauṣaḍaṃtena mūlena punaḥ prakṣālya kartarīm | haste śiṣyasya caitanyaṃ taddehe vinivartayet
Matapos muling hugasan ang gunting sa pamamagitan ng mūla-mantra na nagtatapos sa “vauṣaṭ”, ibalik ng guro ang malay na sigla (caitanya) ng alagad, at ipasok itong muli sa katawan sa pamamagitan ng kamay ng alagad.

The use of a mūlamantra and the ‘vauṣaṭ’ ending reflects Vedic-Śaiva ritual procedure used in Saguna Shiva worship—where external acts (śuddhi, offerings, mantra) serve as vehicles for invoking Shiva’s grace and stabilizing the disciple in worship.
It indicates mantra-based purification (washing the instrument with the mūlamantra) and a guided restoration of caitanya through the disciple’s hand—pointing to a formal diksha-style rite rather than a standalone meditation.
