नक्षत्रे शुभयोगे च सर्वदोषविवर्जिते । अनुगृह्य ततो दद्याज्ज्ञानं मम यथाविधि । स्वरेणोच्चारयेत्सम्यगेकांते ऽतिप्रसन्नधीः । उच्चार्योच्चारयित्वा तमावयोर्मंत्रमुत्तमम्
nakṣatre śubhayoge ca sarvadoṣavivarjite | anugṛhya tato dadyājjñānaṃ mama yathāvidhi | svareṇoccārayetsamyagekāṃte 'tiprasannadhīḥ | uccāryoccārayitvā tamāvayormaṃtramuttamam
Kapag ang mga bituin at ang mapalad na mga yoga ay kanais-nais at walang anumang kapintasan, matapos munang ipagkaloob ang biyaya, dapat niyang ipasa—ayon sa itinakdang tuntunin—ang kaalamang ito na Akin. Sa wastong himig at bigkas, sa pag-iisa, at may isip na lubhang payapa, dapat itong bigkasin nang tama; at matapos bigkasin at ipabigkas, dapat niyang ipamana ang kataas-taasang mantra na pag-aari naming dalawa (guro at alagad).

It teaches that Shiva-knowledge and the liberating mantra are not merely intellectual: they are transmitted through grace (anugraha), right procedure (vidhi), and inner purity, aligning with Shaiva Siddhanta where Pati (Shiva) grants release through His favor and right upadesha.
Though the verse speaks of mantra and knowledge, it supports Saguna upasana—where Shiva is approached through revealed mantra, disciplined recitation, and consecrated practice—often centered on Linga worship, japa, and guru-given instruction.
Choose an auspicious, defect-free time; receive the teaching by grace; perform mantra-japa in solitude (ekanta) with correct intonation (svara), and transmit/receive it through proper guru-disciple recitation—i.e., a diksha-style, rule-governed mantra practice.
