अग्निर्हि वाजिनं विशे ददाति विश्वचर्षणिः । अग्नी राये स्वाभुवं स प्रीतो याति वार्यमिषं स्तोतृभ्य आ भर ॥
agnír hí vājíṇaṃ viśé dádāti viśvácarṣaṇiḥ | agnī rāyé svā́bhuvaṃ sá prītó yāti vā́ryam íṣaṃ stotṛ́bhya ā́ bhara ||
For Agni, the all-supporting Power, gives to the people the vāja—plenitude of effective force. Agni, self-existent in his becoming, moves when pleased toward the rayi—fullness of being—and brings the choice impulsion of nourishment to the singers.
