Bearing Mountain
तस्मिन् सम्पीड्यमानेतुभग्नद्रुमशिलातले ।न शेकुर्वानरास्स्थातुंघूर्णमानेनगोत्तमे ।।6.74.39।।
tasmin sampīḍyamāne tu bhagna-druma-śilā-tale | na śekur vānarāḥ sthātuṃ ghūrṇamānena gottame ||6.74.39||
Nang ang pinakamainam na bundok ay dinudurog—ang ibabaw nito’y kalat ng nabaling punò at bató—hindi na makapanatili sa kanilang tayô ang mga vānarā habang ito’y umiindayog at nanginginig.
As the foremost of the mountain got oppressed it crushed the trees and rocks on it and Vanaras were unable to stand on it.
Dharma recognizes the gravity of collective crisis: the community is destabilized, and hence the urgency of the healer’s mission is morally reinforced.
