अकम्पन-प्रेषणम् तथा कपि-राक्षस-रणवर्णनम्
Akampana Dispatched; The Vanara–Rakshasa Battle and Omens
द्रुमशक्तिगदाप्रासैश्शिलापरिघतोमरैः ।।।।हरयोराक्षसाश्चैवस्तूर्णंजघ्नुरन्योन्यमोजसा ।
druma-śakti-gadā-prāsaiḥ śilā-parigha-tōmaraiḥ | harayo rākṣasāś caiva stūrṇaṃ jaghnur anyōnyam ōjasā ||
Sa mga punongkahoy, sibat, pamalo at mga pana—gayundin sa mga bato, bakal na pamalo at mga diyabelin—ang mga Vanara at mga Rakshasa ay mabilis na nagpatamaan sa isa’t isa nang may mabagsik na lakas.
Then Rakshasas and Vanaras fought one another vigorously with trees, javelins, maces, darts, rocks, and peaks.
The verse is descriptive, but ethically it points to the escalation of violence: Dharma demands that power (bala) be governed by purpose and limits, otherwise strength becomes mere destruction.
After the confusion, the battle continues in intense hand-to-hand and improvised-weapon fighting.
Courage and physical might are emphasized, though the broader narrative frames these as needing rightful direction under Dharma.
