Ravana’s Shakti Javelin and Lakshmana’s Wounding
अप्राप्तामेवतांबाणैस्त्रिभिश्चिच्छेदलक्ष्मणः ।अथोदतिष्ठत्सन्नादोवानराणांमहारणे ।।।।
aprāptām eva tāṃ bāṇais tribhiś ciccheda lakṣmaṇaḥ |
athodatiṣṭhat sannādo vānarāṇāṃ mahāraṇe ||
Bago pa man iyon makarating sa tatamaan, winasak ni Lakṣmaṇa ang sibat sa tatlong palaso; at sa gitna ng dakilang labanan, umalingawngaw ang malakas na sigaw ng tagumpay ng mga Vānara.
Lakshmana shattered the javelin with three shafts even before it reached him (Vibheeshana). Then the Vanaras raised loud cheer in that huge conflict.
