अयोध्याकाण्डे एकादशोत्तरशततमः सर्गः
Sarga 111: Counsel on Gurus, Parental Debt, and Bharata’s Protest
स तु राममवेक्षन्तं सुमन्त्रं पेक्ष्य दुर्मनाः।कुशोत्तरमुपस्थाप्य भूमावेवाऽस्तरत्स्वयम्।।।।
sa tu rāmam avekṣantaṃ sumantraṃ prekṣya durmanāḥ | kuśottaram upasthāpya bhūmāv evāstarat svayam ||
Bagabag ang kalooban, nakita ni Bharata si Sumantra na nakatingin kay Rāma upang tumanggap ng utos; kaya si Bharata mismo ang nagdala ng nakalatag na kuśa at inilatag iyon sa lupa.
Bharata was mentally disturbed saw Sumantra waiting for Rama's order. Then he himself brought a heap of kusa grass and spread it on the ground.
