Glory of Puruṣottama: Pañcatīrthī Observance and Narasiṃha Worship
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Uttara-Bhaga vrata/tirtha-mahatmya dialogue)
Vrata: Dvādaśī observance (darśana-focused)
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"Assurance and stability: darśana of the imperishable Lord leads to an unfalling state in Viṣṇuloka."}
It states a direct phala (result): sincere darśana of the imperishable Purushottama on Dvādaśī leads to Viṣṇuloka and ensures non-return (no spiritual downfall from that attained state).
Bhakti is expressed as darśana-centered devotion tied to sacred time (Dvādaśī). The verse emphasizes that loving, reverent vision of Viṣṇu—supported by vrata discipline—culminates in the Lord’s abode.
It implicitly uses Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa (lunar calendrics/tithi reckoning): identifying Dvādaśī as the operative tithi for vrata observance and worship timing connected to a specific spiritual fruit.
