The Procedure for Offering Piṇḍa (Funerary Rice-balls) — Gayā-māhātmya
सृष्टेरंतर्गतं यस्मात्फल्गुतीर्थँ न निष्फलम् । तीर्थानि यानि सर्वाणि भवनेष्वखिलेषु च ॥ ८५ ॥
sṛṣṭeraṃtargataṃ yasmātphalgutīrthaṃ na niṣphalam | tīrthāni yāni sarvāṇi bhavaneṣvakhileṣu ca || 85 ||
Sapagkat nasasaklaw ito sa mismong kaayusan ng paglikha, ang Phalgu-tīrtha ay hindi kailanman walang bunga; gayundin, ang lahat ng banal na tīrtha na naroroon sa lahat ng dako—sa bawat tahanan at pook—ay tunay na mabisa.
