FAQs

It links auspicious lineage (the birth of Pradyumna) with sacred geography, indicating that prosperity and spiritual merit are reinforced through movement among tīrthas—especially river confluences like Prayāga.

In the Uttara-Bhāga’s tīrtha context, devotion is expressed through reverent pilgrimage, remembrance of sacred rivers, and faith that contact with holy places supports inner purification and God-oriented living.

Primarily tīrtha-prayoga (practical pilgrimage procedure): recognizing named confluences (Prayāga) and the sequence of sacred sites—useful for planning ritual bathing (snāna) and yātrā observances.
