Dapat maging walang pagkapit sa asawa ng iba, walang pagnanasa sa mga bagay ng pandama, isuko ang pansariling pagnanasa alang-alang sa kapakanan ng kapwa, at laging maglingkod sa mga banal na yajña.
Narada (teaching in a dharma-oriented enumeration; traditional dialogue frame with Sanatkumara lineage in Narada Purana teachings)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"shanta","secondary_rasa":"bhakti","emotional_journey":"A calm ethical ascent: restraint from illicit attachment, fading of sensory craving, altruistic renunciation, culminating in steady engagement with yajña-service."}
It defines core dharmic restraints—sexual ethics, sense-restraint, and selflessness—presented as prerequisites for purity and higher spiritual progress, making one fit for sacred acts and inner realization.
Bhakti is strengthened by purity of conduct: freedom from lust, greed, and selfish desire stabilizes the mind, allowing consistent worship and service (seva) in acts like yajña that are traditionally offered to the Divine.
Ritual application is implied through “makha” (yajña): it points to Karma-kāṇḍa practice supported by Vedāṅga disciplines—especially Kalpa (ritual procedure) and Śikṣā/Vyākaraṇa for correct recitation and formulation of mantras.
