Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It identifies the Supreme as self-revealing Consciousness that shines as one’s own Self, and teaches that liberation is the recognition of this ever-present inner light beyond limiting emotions.
By stressing freedom from anger and other upādhis, it supports sattvic purification—an essential ground for steady Vishnu-bhakti—so devotion becomes clear, luminous, and centered in the indwelling Self.
No specific Vedanga technique is taught directly; the practical takeaway is sādhana-based—removing mental afflictions like krodha as ‘upādhis’ so the self-luminous awareness (prakāśa) is recognized without obstruction.
