The Description of the Four Durgā Mantras
चिताग्नौ परभृत्पक्षैर्जुर्हुयादरिमृत्यवे । उन्मत्तकाष्ठदीप्तेऽग्नौ तत्फलं वायसच्छदैः ॥ २८ ॥
citāgnau parabhṛtpakṣairjurhuyādarimṛtyave | unmattakāṣṭhadīpte'gnau tatphalaṃ vāyasacchadaiḥ || 28 ||
Sa apoy ng cremation, dapat ihandog bilang oblation ang mga balahibo ng kukuko (parabhṛt) upang magdulot ng kamatayan sa kaaway. Kung ang apoy ay naglalagablab sa kahoy ng punong unmattaka, ang kaparehong bunga ay makakamtan sa pag-aalay ng balahibo ng uwak.
