The Description of the Four Durgā Mantras
पलाशकुसुमैर्होमात्तेजस्वी जायते नरः । चन्दनागुरुकस्तूरी चन्द्रकुंकुमरोचनाः ॥ १५१ ॥
palāśakusumairhomāttejasvī jāyate naraḥ | candanāgurukastūrī candrakuṃkumarocanāḥ || 151 ||
Sa pag-aalay ng homa gamit ang mga bulaklak ng palāśa, ang tao ay nagiging maningning at puspos ng tejas—ningning at lakas espirituwal. Gayundin, itinatakda ring ihandog ang mga pabango tulad ng sandalwood, agaru, musk, ang malamig na halimuyak na tinatawag na “candra”, saffron, at gorocanā.
