The Classification and Explanation of Yakṣiṇī Mantras
Kālī and Tārā Vidyās
Narada (teaching within a vidhi/technical-ritual context, addressed to the Sanatkumara tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: raudra
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
The verse highlights a results-oriented (siddhi-prada) ritual logic: specific offerings made with correct vidhi to a specific devatā are said to yield swift, tangible attainments—“in one’s hand,” meaning readily accessible.
It presents a form of devatā-upāsanā where devotion is expressed through prescribed offerings (tarpaṇa) to Kālikā; the emphasis is on ritual propitiation as a devotional act that is believed to produce immediate fruits.
Ritual procedure (vidhi) and correct application of offerings—an applied, technical dimension aligned with kalpa-style practice: who is worshiped, with what substance, and what result is traditionally associated.
