Kārtavīrya-kavaca-vṛttānta
महाशत्रुहा रौद्रा महामारीमसूरिकाः । ऐकाहिका व्द्याहिकाश्च त्र्याहिकाश्च महाज्वराः ॥ ७२ ॥
mahāśatruhā raudrā mahāmārīmasūrikāḥ | aikāhikā vdyāhikāśca tryāhikāśca mahājvarāḥ || 72 ||
Ang lagnat na ‘tagapuksa ng dakilang kaaway’, ang ‘raudra’ na mabagsik na lagnat, ang malaking salot at ang asūrikā (bulutong); pati ang lagnat na isang araw, dalawang araw, at tatlong araw—ang mga ito ang mga dakilang lagnat.
