Mantra-Māhātmya and Sādhana of Kārtavīryārjuna

दीर्घाढ्यमूलबीजेन कुर्यादेषां षडंगकम् । तारो हृत्कार्तवीर्यार्जुनाय वर्मास्त्रठद्वयम् ॥ ४६ ॥
dīrghāḍhyamūlabījena kuryādeṣāṃ ṣaḍaṃgakam | tāro hṛtkārtavīryārjunāya varmāstraṭhadvayam || 46 ||
Gamit ang ‘mahabang’ ugat-binhi na pantig, isagawa ang anim-na-bahaging paglalapat (ṣaḍaṅga) para sa mga ito. Pagkaraan, sa pamamagitan ng tāra, ang praṇava (Oṁ), ilapat sa puso ang magkapares na hanay—ang varma (baluting mantra) at ang astra (sandatang mantra)—para kay Kārtavīrya Arjuna.
