It links a practical remedy with devatā-sambandha (deity-association), showing that technical procedures in the Purana are framed within sacred order and ritual intentionality.
Bhakti here is implicit: even a bodily remedy is performed with remembrance of the presiding devatā, reflecting a devotional orientation where action is aligned with sacred authority.
It reflects applied technical instruction (prayoga/upāya) characteristic of the Third Pada’s practical sciences—procedural guidance resembling ritualized therapeutics rather than purely philosophical teaching.
