FAQs

It models a structured devotional itinerary—remembering and worshipping specific devatās tied to named sacred locales—showing that bhakti can be practiced through ordered remembrance (smaraṇa) and pūjā.

Bhakti here is expressed as repeated, heartfelt worship—Śrī and other revered forms are honored in sequence, emphasizing steadiness (punaḥ) and inner attachment (hṛd-antima) rather than mere external travel.

It reflects a technical, list-based liturgical style used in ritual recitation—careful preservation of proper names and locations, aligning with Vedāṅga concerns like correct pronunciation (Śikṣā) and precise wording (Vyākaraṇa) in devotional formulas.
