दिव्यं भावं यतो दद्यात्क्षिणुयाद्दुरितानि च । अतो दीक्षेति सा प्रोक्ता सर्वागमविशारदैः ॥ २ ॥
divyaṃ bhāvaṃ yato dadyātkṣiṇuyādduritāni ca | ato dīkṣeti sā proktā sarvāgamaviśāradaiḥ || 2 ||
Sapagkat ipinagkakaloob nito ang banal na kalagayang panloob at winawasak din ang mga kasalanan, kaya ito’y tinawag na “dīkṣā,” ayon sa mga dalubhasa sa lahat ng Āgama.
