Gṛhastha-nitya-karman: Śauca, Sandhyā-vidhi, Pañca-yajña, and Āśrama-krama
क्षिप्त्वोपतिष्ठेद्देवर्षे भास्करं स्वस्तिकांजलिम् । ऊर्द्धूबाहुरधोबाहुः क्रमात्कल्यादिके त्रिके ॥ ५२ ॥
kṣiptvopatiṣṭheddevarṣe bhāskaraṃ svastikāṃjalim | ūrddhūbāhuradhobāhuḥ kramātkalyādike trike || 52 ||
O banal na rishi, matapos iwisik ang itinakdang tubig, tumindig nang may paggalang sa harap ni Bhāskara (Araw) na magkasalikop ang mga kamay sa mapalad na “svastika” añjali. Sa tatlong yuga na nagsisimula sa Kṛta, isagawa ang pagsamba ayon sa pagkakasunod—sa isang yuga itaas ang mga bisig, at sa kasunod ay ibaba ang mga bisig, ayon sa nararapat.
