शिरसा चार्ध्यमादाय गुरुपुत्रं समभ्यगात् । महदासनमादाय सर्वरत्नतम् ॥ २ ॥
śirasā cārdhyamādāya guruputraṃ samabhyagāt | mahadāsanamādāya sarvaratnatam || 2 ||
Taglay sa ulo ang arghya, ang handog ng paggalang, lumapit siya sa anak ng guro; at nagdala ng isang dakilang āsana—pinakamainam, pinalamutian ng sari-saring hiyas—(upang ihandog).
