Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
सपापगोऽर्को जायो वा परवीर्यप्रसूतिकृत् । पापभस्थौ पापखेटैः सूर्यार्घानत्रिकोणगौ ॥ ७३ ॥
sapāpago'rko jāyo vā paravīryaprasūtikṛt | pāpabhasthau pāpakheṭaiḥ sūryārghānatrikoṇagau || 73 ||
Kung ang Araw (Arka) ay kasabay ng makasalanang impluwensiya, ginagawa nitong “jāya” ang tao (nasasakop o pinamumunuan ng iba) o nagiging sanhi na ang supling ay maipaglihi sa bisa ng lakas ng ibang lalaki. Gayundin, kapag ang masasamang planeta ay nasa masasamang lugar, at kapag ang Araw at Buwan ay nasa mga tatsulok na puwesto ng argha ng Araw (isang teknikal na hati), ipinahihiwatig ang gayong mga bunga.
