Transliteration

tāsu durgākathātyaṃtaṃ puṇyadā cāṣṭameṃ'tare | tatpaścātpraṇavotpattistrayītejaḥ samudbhavā || 9 ||

Translation

Sa mga paksang iyon, sa ikawalong bahagi ay naroon ang banal na salaysay tungkol kay Durgā, na nagkakaloob ng dakilang kabutihan. Pagkaraan nito, inilarawan ang pinagmulan ng Praṇava (Oṁ), na isinilang mula sa ningning ng tatlong Veda.
