Una, binabanggit ang tanong ng muni na si Mārkaṇḍeya, na sinasabing naipahayag na noon ni Jaimini; kasunod nito ang aral na nagtatakda ng dharma ng mga ibon, at pagkatapos ay ang salaysay ng kanilang pinagmulan at pagsilang.
