The Exposition of the Pratipadā Vrata for the Twelve Months
चैत्रे मासि जगद्ब्रह्मा ससज प्रथमेऽहनि । शुक्लपक्षे समग्रं वै तदा सूर्योदये सति ॥ ५ ॥
caitre māsi jagadbrahmā sasaja prathame'hani | śuklapakṣe samagraṃ vai tadā sūryodaye sati || 5 ||
Sa buwan ng Caitra, nilikha ni Jagad-Brahmā ang buong daigdig sa mismong unang araw—sa maliwanag na kalahati ng buwan (śukla-pakṣa)—sa oras ng pagsikat ng araw.
