Adhyaya 22 — Kuvalayashva’s Death through Daitya-Deceit and Madalasa’s Self-Immolation
तत्क्षणात् चेतनां प्राप्य सर्वास्ता नृपयोषितः ।
राजपत्नीश्च राजा च विलेपुरतिदुःखिताः ॥
tatkṣaṇāt cetanāṃ prāpya sarvāstā nṛpayoṣitaḥ /
rājapatnīś ca rājā ca vilepur atiduḥkhitāḥ
Sa mismong sandaling iyon, nang magkamalay muli, ang lahat ng kababaihang maharlika—ang mga reyna ng hari at maging ang hari—ay nanaghoy, nilamon ng matinding pighati.
