FAQs

Practical Ayurvedic therapeutics: (1) an external oil-mixed kāñcika paste for head pain, and (2) a warm, cloth-filtered medicinal liquid (mindhūtya) used as ear instillation to relieve earache.

It shows the text functioning as a compendium beyond mythology—preserving applied medical protocols (formulation, warming, filtration, and administration route) alongside other sciences, making the Agni Purana a cross-disciplinary reference.

By promoting relief of suffering through dhārmic, non-harmful care, the instruction aligns with purāṇic ideals of compassion and service (dayā), supporting bodily well-being as a foundation for sādhana and righteous living.
