Explanation of the Rite of Initiation

नमो भूतेभ्यश् च बलिः कुशे शेते स्मरन् हरिं मण्डपं भूषयित्वाथ वितानघटलड्डुकैः

namo bhūtebhyaś ca baliḥ kuśe śete smaran hariṃ maṇḍapaṃ bhūṣayitvātha vitānaghaṭalaḍḍukaiḥ

Dapat din siyang maghandog ng bali kalakip ang pagbati: “Namo bhūtebhyaḥ—pagpupugay sa mga nilalang.” Pagkaraan, humiga sa damong kuśa habang inaalala si Hari, palamutian ang maṇḍapa (pabilyong ritwal), at saka ayusin ito ng vitāna (kanopi), mga banga (ghaṭa), at mga laddū (matatamis na handog).
