The Birth of Ahaṅkāra as Guha/Skanda and His Appointment as Divine Commander

तत्संयोगादहंकारः स च सेनापतिर्गुहः । तस्योत्पत्तिं प्रवक्ष्यामि शृणु राजन् महामते ॥ २५.५ ॥

tatsaṃyogād ahaṃkāraḥ sa ca senāpatir guhaḥ | tasyotpattiṃ pravakṣyāmi śṛṇu rājan mahāmate || 25.5 ||

จากการประสานนั้น อะหังการะ (ความรู้สึกว่า ‘เรา’) บังเกิดขึ้น และเกี่ยวเนื่องกับคุหะ ผู้เป็นจอมทัพแห่งหมู่เทพ; เราจักกล่าวถึงกำเนิดของท่าน—ขอพระราชาผู้มีปัญญายิ่งจงสดับเถิด।
